Get started

Create your organization, connect your Microsoft tenant and land in the workspace. Four steps, about a minute.

01 Your organization and the agreements

Sign in with a Microsoft work account and confirm your organization’s details. Most of them are already filled in. Accept the Terms of Service and the Data Processing Agreement, acknowledge the Privacy Policy, and confirm that you are authorised to bind your organization. You can read each document in full on the spot.

Setup step one: the organization name and domain and the signed-in user’s name and email, beside the Terms of Service, Data Processing Agreement, Privacy Policy and the confirmation of authority to accept them.

02 A plan

Pick the user limit that fits your directory, month to month or on a twelve-month term. Every plan is the same product and differs only in how many people can use Catalog. Every plan starts with a free trial.

Setup step two: the plans by user limit, the monthly and twelve-month choice, and a card for organizations above the largest plan.

03 Microsoft’s consent

A Global Administrator grants consent on Microsoft’s own admin consent screen. Before sending you there, the setup screen lists every permission Catalog asks for, each with a plain sentence saying why. Five of the six are read-only. The one that writes adds people to groups.

Setup step three: the six permissions Catalog requests, five of them read-only, and the note that a Global Administrator grants consent on Microsoft’s own screen.

04 Payment

Payment comes last, after consent, on Stripe’s hosted checkout. Card details are entered on Stripe’s page and never reach our servers, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. If your organization has used Catalog before and still has applications or groups on file, one more step asks whether to keep them.

05 Your first look

You land in the workspace. The sidebar groups the product: the catalog itself (Applications and Groups), your own work (My Approvals and My Demands), management of what is published, and the request report under Reports.
