Browse and request

Find what you need in a catalog built for you, and ask for it for yourself or for one of your devices.

01 Open the catalog

Sign in with your Microsoft work account and open Applications or Groups. Search by name, or filter by category and platform. Each item shows whether it needs approval and how many steps that takes.

02 See what a request involves

An item can show a preview of its assignment target and approval workflow. Open it for a full page with its moderator and the approval steps your request will go through.

03 Ask for it

Request it for yourself. If it is an application that installs on a device, choose which of your own managed devices it goes to. You are only offered devices running the operating system the application is published for, Windows or macOS.

04 Ask for a group on a device

A group can also be assigned to devices. For those, you pick the device that should join, and all of your managed devices are offered, whatever their platform.

05 One request at a time

A second request is refused while an earlier one for the same thing is pending, in progress or already granted. Where an item targets devices, that applies per device.

06 When nothing needs approving

An item with no approval steps is granted the moment you ask for it.
